Its seems that in no other time can creatives fund our lifestyles doing what we love. Finding that each person has a unique way to prosper. The cost: not knowing, being uncomfortable and trying stuff that hasn't been done before.

Cheers to the grand experiment and the life beyond my dreams!

Wow! I stumbled on Substack after reading an article in my union paper and she had her sibstack address as a link to respond. I thanked the writer and never thought about it again. I never heard of this site and didn’t explore the options. I was tired of another app. To my surprise, I realized that this was my tribe. Interesting and informative but most of all inspirational. While in grad school two of my professors asked if I ever thought about being a writer. I wrote poetry but never thought about being a writer. I'm a drama teacher, not an English teacher. I once responded to another article about education and the editor enjoyed my response and told me I could submit editorials and be paid. Well, I went into analysis paralysis and never submitted an article. After reading this post I decided that I'm going to just write and submit my first article this month. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom. It was informative but also encouraging. When you share your vision, people are quick to tell you what's impossible. Thank you for the reminder that it's not.
